Hudson Capital Group, LLC (HCG) began proprietarily trading energy derivatives at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) in 1993. The firm has expanded into Asset Management, investing client capital in strategies based on the fundamental analysis of petroleum and natural gas supply/demand balances.

Job Summary:
This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in learning about trading derivatives and
the energy industry. Our intern candidates will interact with the trading staff, gain insight into Energy
market fundamental drivers, and observe money management techniques. The interns will also
work on projects involving hedge fund operations. Interns will participate in an intensive and highly
interactive workshop, covering topics such as options theory, fundamental analysis, and technical
analysis.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with research, technical and fundamental analysis
- Provide operational support for all business needs
- Assist trading assistants with news, reports, checking trades, etc.
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Genuine interest in learning about Trading and Energy
- Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills.
- Strong Quantitative Background.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Excel, C#, VB.NET, SQL, and/or .NET libraries a plus
- Familiarity with Energy and Commodity Markets a plus
