The firm has expanded into Asset Management, investing client capital in strategies based on the fundamental analysis of petroleum and natural gas supply/demand balances.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will study, research and analyze key fundamental drivers of the petroleum and natural gas markets and learn to effectively monetize these concepts. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to advance his/her execution and trading skills, as well as develop options expertise, portfolio construction techniques, and risk management skills. This role works closely with the Chief Investment Officer and will have direct impact on the bottom line.
Essential Functions:
- Execute trades in both Exchange-traded and OTC-traded environments
- Learn and monitor key drivers behind each product’s supply/demand balance sheet
- Make decisions based on proprietary models and interaction with traders, analysts and brokers
- Work with trading team and technology staff to develop, improve and implement existing and new work processes.
- Learn and apply Technical Analysis to overall market evaluation
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Mathematics
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in proprietary trading and/or risk management environment
- Basic knowledge of Options a must
- Familiarity with Energy and Commodity Markets
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and probability skills
- Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- A competitive nature
